This firm is looking for a paralegal with more than 5 years experience in family law and criminal law. Candidate must have strong communication skills; proficient in all aspects of Family Law with a willingness to learn criminal law.

Ability to conduct legal research; draft correspondences; reports; pleadings; motions; discovery and supporting documentation under supervision of staff counsel. Analyze and organize information; documents; and exhibits. Assist staff counsel in preparing legal briefs and memoranda of points and authorities. Provide other assistance to staff counsel on cases and matters as requested. Must be a people oriented person.

Must be familiar with Dissomaster, Eptstein/Watts credits, Moore/ Marsden, Legal Solutions, Abacus, Word Perfect.

Serve as liaison with clients; the court; counsel and others. Bilingual in Spanish a plus.
